Personally

Treva and I were married on September 10, 1988. We're old! Together we have two boys: Kylar & Colson.

We met after college when I was stationed in Omaha, NE as a Second Lieutenant in the US Air Force. The first time I saw Treva, she was helping a special needs student take pizza out of his pocket! I fell in love instantly. It took her a few months to catch on :)

I love to exercise, work outdoors, go camping, and read. I LOVE to read! Treva is a sports nut. Currently her energizes take her to all locations doing sprint and Olympic triatholons. Together, we love to meet with couples and help them understand what it takes to really make a relationship fly. We have fun, and most couples do too!

Our boys... they are 100% boys. Ask me tomorrow what they broke today! Oh well. They are awesome. They both love sports and play soccer, baseball, and of course are nuts for skateboarding!

My favorite music is probably some old 70's rockers like Styx or Kansas, although I really do like when my boys play Greenday and Simple Plan! Movies? Forrest Gump gets me everytime, as does Life as a House. Books? I love anything by Dallas Willard or Brian McLaren, but my friend and New Testament expert Scot McKnight is a good read for theology nurds like me! I can't forget "Orbiting the Giant Hairball" - it is a leadership classic!

Finally a Wedding Minister, Wedding Officiant in the Chicago area you can relate to. Helping couples on their wedding day start off right!
